About the MROP
The Men’s Rites of Passage (MROP) is a five-day, four-night experience grounded in the wisdom of ancient initiation. It is not a retreat, lecture, or workshop. It is a sacred threshold—a chance to awaken the soul and remember who you are.
Through ritual, teaching, nature, and silence, men are invited to leave behind what no longer serves them and cross into a deeper experience of life. No dogma. No spectators. Just the radical invitation to show up as you are—with courage, openness, and a willingness to be changed.
As Fr. Richard Rohr, MROP founder, reminds us:
“Initiation, like life itself, is not a spectator sport.”
What to Expect
Each day includes:
Teachings on authentic masculinity and transformation
Time for solitude and reflection in nature
Council sharing in small, trusted groups
Rituals that honor grief, identity, and the deeper journey
The support of a seasoned team of initiated elders
This is a process—not a performance. We begin at point zero. You are not expected to live up to or down to anything. Simply bring your whole self and a beginner’s mind.
