Awaken

Every fall, Illuman men gather for our annual conference: Awaken.

This 4-day, 3-night event is a high point of the year for our community, helping men deepen and grow while spending time in the beauty of each other and our world.

Not just a typical “conference,” Awaken incorporates the touchstones that make Illuman’s work unique: deep inner work featuring ritual, teaching, nature wanderings, poetry, drumming, song, small group councils, and open time to just rest, recreate, and connect.

We gather around the core vision of a whole, healthy, and more authentic masculinity. We come together for the vital work of healing our wounds and awakening to our belovedness. We do this to help transform our lives, that we might bring beauty and healing to a desperate world.
