Spirits of Shrine Mont

The parlor now bare,
Once strong men gathered with care,
Conversations linger there.

In community’s grace,
Ancient bonds we retrace,
Change agents we embrace.

Shrine Mont’s embrace wide,
Allegheny Mountain’s side,
Wholeness we confide.

Hidden gifts we bear,
Suppression’s weight, we declare,
Longing filled the air.

Elemental rites,
Drums beat, hearts in sync
Illuman takes flight.

Fire’s passionate blaze,
Earth’s stability, always,
Water’s flowing grace,

Air’s whispers so light,
Elements in balance, right,
Yin-Yang’s eternal fight.

Doug’s earth wisdom shared,
Chelan’s poems in the air,
Joel’s fiery courage bared.

Brotherhood we found,
In a safe and sacred ground,
Inclusive, profound.

Centered, we grew,
Life’s journey true,
One God, diverse though the view.
