The Gifts of the Enneagram
A Retreat in St. Mary’s City, Maryland, April 1 & 2, 2022
Co-Sponsored by: Illuman DC & Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Mary’s City
“The Enneagram is a dynamic system for self-knowledge and spiritual transformation. It is a wonderful tool that can help us see and let go of the false self—which masks the image of God within us—and allow us to live from our True Self—the unique manifestation of Love that God intends us to be.”~ Richard Rohr ~
“The Enneagram is much more than just another popular formula to pair people to the collection of their personality foibles and eccentricities. It explains the “why” of how we think, act, and feel. It helps us come to terms with our gifts as well as the addictive patterns that tether us to our greatest interpersonal, spiritual, and emotional challenges. The Enneagram invites us to deeper self-awareness as a doorway to spiritual growth.” ~ Christopher L. Heuertz, The Sacred Enneagram: Finding Your Unique Path to Spiritual Growth ~
The Gifts of the Enneagram Retreat will provide numerous opportunities for exploration, whether you are new to the Enneagram or have been using it as a tool in your spiritual practice for years. Foundational information will be shared for each type to set the stage for deeper conversations. All that is required for participation is a willingness to be present in your body, have a curious mind and to bring an open heart.
This weekend retreat will provide participants with opportunities to explore a mature spirituality through a deepening into the wisdom of the Enneagram. Through teachings and experiential opportunities, participants will be invited to explore the path to self-healing and wholeness using the Enneagram as a map and guide.
We recommend participants take an online assessment and read the descriptions of each Enneagram type prior to the attending the retreat. A free basic version of the Enneagram assessment tool may be found at: http://www.9types.com/rheti/index.php.
